Today while watching High Fidelity, I discovered a remarkable connection between two John Cusack movies. The connection is as follows: During one ofthe earlier scenes (about 15 minutes into the film) when he is in his office explaining the effects of his relationship with Charlie, He mentions that he flunked out of college. BUT, he believes himself intelligent because he has READ things. He lists three books, one of which is entitled Love in the Time of Cholera. This same book is the book that he is searching for in Serendipity. It's crazy. Ok, maybe not, but still intriguing.

I bought the graphic novel Ghost World and the latest issue of Eightball last night. I also found a book I have been looking for: Rebel Without a Crew, by Robert Rodriguez, and the Rolling Stone History of Rock and Roll. The rock and roll one is like 800 pages, so it will be a thorough read. I also got an account at this awesome video store called I (heart) Video. I was looking for some Michael Moore films but I couldnt find any. Instead, I rented CRUMB, a documentary about artist Robert Crumb. It was pretty good...he is a weird guy.
Well, time to listen to some Outkast and Beach Boys (waht a weird combination) and get ready for work

i have a car now!

Last night at this resturaunt called Trudys:
I was eating with several friends and we ended up with two waitress' instead of the normal one. One was training the other one. Anyway, the trainee was obviously very new to both waiting tables and life. Everytime she made any interaction with anyone at the table, she would say "excellent" in a Mr. Burns voice from The Simpsons. It was hilarioius at first, but soon I began to pity her. It just got worse as the proceeded to say "d'oh" and "woohoo" later in the dining experience. Maybe she will wise up soon and realize that Simpsons imitations do not equal...i dont know, don't equal something...intelligence maybe.

The air conditioning system is broken at Eckerds. Also, the photo lab is ten degrees warmer because of all of the big machines that give out heat. So its about 90. I actually walked outside from Eckerds during a hot texas summer day, and it felt cool. I watched The Others last night and it was creepy. Good movie though, a lot better than most "scary" movies....I bet it wont top Jason X though...it's in space!
